Our team is dedicated to helping individuals develop skills needed for finding purposeful direction so they may embark on a powerful new journey.
Years of Experience Within Our Compassionate Team
Our behavioral health team is comprised of professionals that have extensive academic knowledge and experience in the field of addiction and mental health. We believe in creating an accepting and compassionate environment to strive in while getting the highest quality of treatment.
As a 12-step AA program, our staff is well-trained in educating clients on the benefits of following the 12 steps, attending meetings regularly, and gaining a sponsor while they are still in our program. Staff members include medical professionals, licensed addiction and mental health therapists, and certified alcohol and drug counselors. We’re ready to help you and your family find their path and open a new chapter, without addiction holding you back.

Julia has over a decade of experience administering art programs and guiding adults that have developmental and intellectual disabilities on art and creative projects, oftentimes utilizing the third hand technique and other adaptive methods. She found that she was interested in the positive effect art programming had on those she worked with and began to take psychology courses as prerequisites for the master’s degree program. Her vast experiences have given her the opportunity to treat traumatic brain injury (TBI) clients with cognitive rehabilitation therapy (CRT), at-risk youth and adolescence in intensive outpatient programs (IOP) and partial hospitalization programs (PHP) with dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and utilize social work and group counseling skills with drug and alcohol detox and rehabilitation clients. At New Chapter she is known to integrate her art therapy expertise into psychoeducational and process groups, adding additional engagement of the mind, body, and spirit in the therapeutic progression.
When she is not studying or fulfilling her professional responsibilities, Julia enjoys spending time with cherished family and friends, and engaging in her many hobbies.
